All meals will be provided. This includes, breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as snacks. Outside time, arts and craft, reading, quiet time will take place daily. There will be an overflow of educational books, toys, audio and video tapes, blocks, gardening, etc., that will be used. It is my hope and vision to provide an environment that encourages each child’s individual natural growth, and assisting them in building self-image through social interactions and self-discovery.
Get to know me
I bring ten years of experience as both a parent and a childcare provider. I have worked with the Orange County School System as a Substitute Teacher, Teacher Assistant, and with Holmes Daycare as a Teacher’s Aide. From 1992 to 1994, I was honored with the Volunteer Parent of the Year Award during my son’s time in Head Start. Additionally, I earned the 4-H Certificate while contributing to an afterschool program in 1993.
My Family: I have raised two children as a single parent, both of whom I successfully guided through college. I am now blessed with two grandchildren, whom I assist in teaching and caring for. My family fully supports my decision to dedicate my career to providing quality childcare in my home.
My Philosophy: I believe every child deserves to grow and learn in a warm, attentive, and nurturing environment. I am committed to fostering this atmosphere throughout their daily activities, meals, and outdoor play.

Schedule of Operations
Services will be offered year-round, with the exception of scheduled provider vacations. Ample notice will always be given in advance of any planned time off, and parents will receive a detailed list of holidays and closures. In case of unexpected illness, it will be the parent’s responsibility to arrange for care and manage any related fees. Payments are expected regardless of absences or missed days to ensure the continuity of care.

Our daily routine will include outdoor play, arts and crafts, reading, quiet time, and more. While there is a general schedule, I prefer a flexible approach, allowing the children to guide activities based on their interests and needs. An abundance of educational books, toys, games, blocks, audio, and video resources will be available to foster creativity and learning. My goal is to create a nurturing environment that supports each child’s natural growth, encourages self-discovery, and helps build a strong, positive self-image through meaningful social interactions.
